MiH Jeans Fall Collection Shows You How to Look London Cool

We've been smitten with London denim brand MiH Jeans for a while now.

We've been smitten with London denim brand MiH Jeans for a while now. Not only does its denim fit like a dream — one of our editors owns three pairs — we love how the cuts and silhouettes are modern yet classic at the same time. For its Fall lookbook, the brand dreamed up a vision of throwback cool via high-rise flares, dark denim skinnies, cozy corduroy pants, and even some special collection pieces like a '50s style leather biker jacket. Additionally, we're taking cues from the lookbook and plan on styling our denim with tailored tops and felt hats for a sexy downtown aesthetic. Check out our top three picks below, then check out the rest of the lookbook in the slideshow.

  • These black cords would be a cozy staple come cooler weather.
  • These Marrakesh jeans have the perfect gradual flare we've been looking for.
  • This perfectly distressed leather biker jacket is on our wish list — a girl can always dream, right?

Paris Fashion Week Street Style — Denim Trousers

There was a '70s redux on the Spring 2011 runways, to say the least, and we spotted the look off the runway, too.

There was a '70s redux on the Spring 2011 runways, to say the least, and we spotted the look off the runway, too. Between Paris Fashion Week shows, we admired this leggy cutie's way with layering and pairing shades of green. Her throwback jeans and leather jacket emanate that '70s feel, while classic black heeled boots and polished Celine tote add an equestrian touch. Get her look with similar items from MiH jeans, Chloe, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Diane von Furstenberg.

Trend Alert: Zippy Tops

If zippered jeans or shoes weren't your flavor, give zippy tops a try.

If zippered jeans or shoes weren't your flavor, give zippy tops a try. The way I see it, zippered tops — a la tanks, tees, tunics — are a low-commitment, high-style risk. There are tons of affordable options for you to experiment with and major fashion points to be earned. Ashley Greene rocked a print version with high-waisted MiH jeans and a Gucci bag for a radically '70s look while walking the streets in LA. I kinda love it.
