Miss Piggy is getting the attention a true diva deserves again, as she, Kermie, and the rest of the gang make their comeback this Thanksgiving in The Muppets. We chatted with Miss Piggy and her longtime love Kermit about the movie and their relationship. Miss Piggy was kind enough to share some sensible advice for single women looking for the kind of love she's found with her frog. She said:

"You have to believe that you are pretty yourself, that you don't need that affirmation from others. Be strong and be self respectful. You have to believe in yourself and love yourself before others can love you."

The Muppets shut down Hollywood Boulevard in LA yesterday for the world premiere of their new movie. Kermit the Frog was joined by his whole crew — Gonzo, Rolf, Animal, Fozzy, and newcomer Walter — arriving in a Jeep to kick off the green-carpet processional of stars and puppets. Miss Piggy followed closely behind in her own convertible, wearing Jeremy Scott and Louboutins, and blew kisses to the crowd. We talked to Piggy and Kermit about their return to the big screen, and the pair joked that this film brought them closer together.

We also spoke with some of the human stars including Amy Adams and Jason Segel. Jason said it was a dream come true to work with the Muppets and he plans on inviting all of them, including his puppet brother Walter, over for Thanksgiving dinner so they can reenact the landing on Plymouth Rock. Many of Jason's How I Met Your Mother costars also stepped out to support his latest venture including Alyson Hannigan, Josh Radnor, and Neil Patrick Harris, who has a small role in the film. Jason Segel and Kermit the Frog made an appearance at D23 this morning at the Anaheim Convention Center to chat about The Muppets. The duo weren't joined by leading lady Amy Adams, though another of the film's female stars, Miss Piggy, did arrive shortly after Kermit and Jason took the stage. In typical spotlight-hogging fashion, Piggy was chauffeured to the Disney expo in the sidecar of a motorcycle by a tough-looking biker companion! In Amy's absence today, Jason, Kermit, and Piggy played two never-before-seen clips from the film. One featured Jason and Amy visiting Kermit at his swanky home in Bel-Air, while the other was a musical number that showed the whole gang tidying up the long-abandoned Muppet Theater to the tune of "We Built this City." We were behind the scenes on The Muppets set this Winter and had a chance to chat with Amy about taking on the role, as well as the fun she had introducing her young daughter, Aviana, to her cuddly costars. Today, after Jason shared the preview with fans and media, he stopped to talk with us about the passion project backstage. Many details about the movie have been kept under wraps, and he told us that his friends and family have been "respectful" about his desire to make the film a surprise and have generally avoided grilling him for spoilers.
