Through the Looking Glass: Moschino's Santa Therapy

There are countless reasons to enjoy the holidays.

There are countless reasons to enjoy the holidays. Let's not forget one, from the fashion front: window shopping. Lately, I've been taking little breathers from work and just admiring through the glass. My holiday shopping is nearly done — thanks to the Internet — so I can sit back and admire the artistry. If you too enjoy Tiffany's sparkly snowflake world and Ralph Lauren's rugged winterscape, join my Window Shopping community group. And, you'll appreciate Moschino's festive New York store windows. Looks like Santa needs to take little breathers too, as his Moschino-clad therapist serves him some advice. In typical Moschino fashion, a nod, and a wink, to Christmas style.

There are already a bunch of groups you can join and explore, and please — start some new ones! Here's a helpful guide to creating in case you need some clarification.

Celebrity Style

Celeb Style: Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson is an outerwear master.

Kate Hudson is an outerwear master. Her latest and greatest coat is an ivory faux fur, which she complemented with a chunky turtleneck and brown accessories. Suede Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots and a matching brown bag make her look luxe, while slim jeans add relaxed flair. To me, this is what Fall is all about — cozy chic that doesn't sacrifice comfort.

A Pre-Fall Preview: Moschino, Versace, Missoni . . . and Molto More

Are you ready for some Pre-Fall action?
Pre-Fall 2010 by Moschino, Missoni, Versace, Alberta Ferretti, and Roberto Cavalli

Are you ready for some Pre-Fall action? The first batch of Pre-Fall '10 is in and it's all courtesy of those talented Italians. Versace, Missoni, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, and Roberto Cavalli's main and Just Cavalli collections are all represented. You'll find lots of knits, furs, feathers, and dark hues but also a few flavorful maxis and minis. My favorite Pre-Fall line so far is Moschino Cheap & Chic (left) — a bit raw, a bit lady, all impeccably styled.

Trend Alert: Big Blooms

It's time to scout your holiday dress of the season, and how can you resist the sweet smell of big blooms?

It's time to scout your holiday dress of the season, and how can you resist the sweet smell of big blooms? Leighton sparkled in this blue, brush-painted rose silk bow front dress with patent belt by Prabal Gurung. If feminine and frilly is your thing, this is your lucky season. Oversize rosettes and flower motifs are not only in style, but quite classic, endlessly pretty. I say go dramatic or go home; I'm sure Leighton would second my emotion.

Fall Glimpse: Haute Houndstooth

I know what you're going to say: houndstooth isn't a trend, it's a classic.
Fall Glimpse: Haute Houndstooth

I know what you're going to say: houndstooth isn't a trend, it's a classic. So true. But what happens when a classic is Preen-ified? You get this wicked little dress. Or when McQueen takes it for a dark spin? Houndstooth like you've never seen it before. We already had a reader rework this classic. Preen, McQueen, Sugar stylists — now it's your turn. My approach would be edgy, an effort to rock houndstooth's world even further.

Look of the Day

Look of the Day: Moschino Girl

I have always loved the combination of a casual tee and a snazzy skirt, which is why ankasi's look appealed to me.

I have always loved the combination of a casual tee and a snazzy skirt, which is why ankasi's look appealed to me. This Moschino girl made sure not to be too simple though — round sunnies, a white chunky watch, and statement rings help dress her up. Sassy, love it.

Here's what she has on:

Tee: Moschino
Skirt: DIY
Sunglasses: Tom Ford

Congrats to ankasi!

Everyone else, submit your looks and I might feature you on FabSugar!

Trend Alert: Teensy Chain Bags

Maria always looks great.

Maria always looks great. She seamlessly goes from the hot court to the stylish red carpet. Here, she co-hosted a TAG Heuer party in Canada, in a crinkled electric blue frock with sheer ruched gray sleeves. But it's her Cole Haan teensy chain bag tucked casually under her arm that brightens up her look. The fact that she's wearing it anti-fancy as a clutch, rather than dangling, is a Sharapova styling trick I think I'll try. Have fun with these little ones and throw an unexpected color into the mix.

Milan Menswear S/S '10 Is On Fire

Hello, thighs of steel.
2010 Milan Menswear Spring/Summer Show

Hello, thighs of steel. Milan Men's Fashion Week is still going strong and I'm continuing the fashionable manjoyment with incredible looks from D&G, John Varvatos, Prada, and Moschino, to name a few. Shorts are back in full force along with slim, tailored suits — so svelte and sexy. The occasional pop of color and prints also caught my attention and how cool are Moschino's mud splattered pants?
