All the cool kids in London are showing prints, so Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos took the digital imagery they apply to their feminine skirts and dresses one step further and folded them into highly sculptural peplums and other shapes. On their own, the prints the design duo used in their Spring 2013 collection would have been enough to catch the eye, but architectural takes on the peplum brought stripes of black, white, and light blue to life at the end of a jacket, and the flounce on the bottom of a green and red skirt added movement. There was beading, too, which looked its best in a black and blue dress held together in front by a black bandeau.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower starlet Emma Watson gave us pure, unadulterated fashion fun on tonight's red carpet — and it has everything to do with that colorfully quirky Peter Pilotto number. It doesn't hurt that she also brought costar Ezra Miller as her main accessory and arm candy. But back to the dress: it's equal parts eclectic in its thickly woven skirt details, sporty in its multicolored mesh paneling, and sexy in its supershort, leg-baring length. If you can spare a moment for her shoes — and we think you should — they are something entirely vixenish to behold. On the whole, Emma continues to impress with off-the-cuff red-carpet ensembles that just work. Do you agree?
There were many well-dressed stars at the 2012 Style Awards in NYC, but Katharine McPhee captured our attention in her colorful printed Peter Pilotto dress and Charlotte Olympia teal platform pumps ($980). What we love most about her bold dress is that it can be dressed up with heels for a night out, dressed down with flats and a denim jacket for a day outing, and made professional via a blazer and black pumps. It's not available to purchase online, but we handpicked many similar styles below so you can re-create Katharine's standout look for yourself.

Lapo Cianchi, chairman of the influential seasonal Pitti trade shows, said his team invited the design duo because they "were looking for a modern approach to feminine elegance that is constant, profound and has the ability to think about itself. We saw this in the evolution of their collections, a knowledgeable process that develops around surprising colors, body-conscious draping and light sculpting. It was also interesting to see how the designers' two distinct spirits come together and reinterpret fashion's classic elements."
Pilotto and De Vos met as students at Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts and started Peter Pilotto together in 2008. In 2009, the two won the British Fashion Council's Emerging Talent Award, and since then its collections have gotten favorable reviews. In the past, Pitti W has selected Diane von Furstenberg, Gareth Pugh, Haider Ackermann, and Proenza Schouler as guest designers.
Pitti W runs in conjunction with its menswear counterpart Pitti Uomo from June 19 to 22.

Taylor Schilling has been dominating the red carpets in her fashion-forward ensembles. She's currently costarring alongside Zac Efron in her newest film The Lucky One and delivering some enviable getups around the globe. Today we're highlighting her directional Peter Pilotto frock filled with bold colors and sporty accents. The style doesn't stop there; the actress's off-duty outfits are just as inspiring as her dressy counterparts. See Taylor's best looks in today's Fab Flash.
Brooklyn Decker's Battleship promotions are proving to be quite the fashion stage for her. First the star dazzled in Stella McCartney, and now she's looking smashing in a printed Peter Pilotti pencil skirt in Tokyo. But while her skirt is wowing, what we're crushing on is her mix of neon yellow Jimmy Choo pumps and a navy silk Theyskens' Theory tank. The neon yellow outshines navy, while the navy adds major class to neon yellow. Like all the other color combos we love, it's a symbiotic fashion relationship that works flawlessly. You can re-create the look like Brooklyn, with a navy tank and neon yellow pumps, or you can switch things up by sporting a neon yellow top with navy bottoms or shoes. Or what about a neon yellow dress with a navy blazer? To get Brooklyn's look, shop similar pieces below.
>> For Fall 2012, Peter Pilotto revisited the scuba silhouettes and futuristic prints of last season, this time giving them a cold-weather kick with the addition of sculptural parkas and technicolor fur. Slim-lined pants in intricate digi-prints looked ultra-appealing, as did a few Rooney Mara-esque cutout dresses and the Nicholas Kirkwood-designed pointy-toed shoes.
