CherryLady is clearly feeling verdant. Her nature-inspired ensemble is as fresh as the trees. My eye instantly gravitates toward that colorblock dress; the combination of green, black, and blue is heavenly. Her chosen accessories — the beaded necklace, yellow earrings, blue bag — all help the outfit come to life.
I don't know about you, but I trip out when my leather boots get drenched from the rain. That's why rain boots, like the wide array from Chooka, are absolutely necessary, especially during torrential downpours. Plus, it's nice when they're stylish too. For a dash of sass, try these Dual Buckle Cheetah Boots ($60). For a subdued look, there are these Croco Riding Boots ($80). Both totally different, both traffic-stopping. Most of you love Jimmy Choo's Hunter Rain Boots ($395). I'm right there with you, as is Rachel Bilson. Too bad I don't love the price. It's not the most ridiculous price tag I've seen, but I'm not about to drop that much on rain boots unless it rains 365 days a year.

These boots are sleek, chic and don’t really look like wellies. You can without a doubt, wear them with your favorite pair of jeans, tucked in, and they will have a very urban, I am going hunting with Prince Charles this afternoon look. To be totally honest, Hunter boots are the real deal, the Rolls Royce of wellies — and they come in a cute, fun array of colors. My favorites? The pink pair and the black – so classy and versatile. I could possibly go for the timeless black, forest green, or navy option, although all the colors are Fab. Hard to make up my mind . . . If Kate Moss can rock these boots and get rave reviews in Vogue, I'm sure any fashion-conscious girl can pull these off.

Most people hate the rain, but not sosupersam. The LA cutie welcomed the inclement weather in a stylish, splash-proof outfit. The green anorak is beyond rad and I fancy her cozy, oversized tube scarf. Like Bilson, she kept her toes dry in a pair of black Hunter wellies — smart!

I don't much care for rainy days — the mud, mess, and mire keep me inside listening to the pitter-patter on the windows. Kids, on the other hand, rather enjoy the muck and muss as splashing in puddles brings an inexplicable high. If your wee one fits into that category, it's time to invest in another pair of rubber rain boots.
Let them jump, splash, wade, and plummet in the slush and sludge without ruining those glittery flats or fancy sneakers. Lil dudes can still keep their Western style with the rubber kickers and sweet girls can prance around in Mary Jane or paisley-printed footwear.
Kate Moss made Hunter wellies famous a couple of years ago when she slogged around the mud at Glastonbury in a black pair.
