Of all the hotties at the Mulberry party in LA last night, Jessica Stroup looked like she had the most fun. The 90210 star was all smiles wearing a tenacious textural 'fit composed of an embellished black skirt, v-neck halter top, and lace cardi. Black pumps, a matching clutch, and a chunky silver ring are her accompaniments of choice. It's all black — and far from basic.

Trust Miley Cyrus to work glam with an edge. Her outfit's not overworked, but it's definitely got something more luxe in the way of leg wear, thanks to her Saloni black chiffon ruched pants. She paired the draped, dressier bottoms with funky Proenza Schouler tie-dye and open-toe lace-up Louboutins. It's a bolder pant — the draping adds visual interest and volume — but they come off pretty effortlessly. Style with a tee or tank and a pair of killer heels, and do as Miley did.

No doubt it would turn Freddy Krueger on. Dresses and skirts are finding themselves purposely slashed. An easy DIY project, but leave it to the pros to outfit the stars — Halle's champagne slashed Gucci dress is beyond sexy. Me? I've already taken some scissors to an old tee. I admit, I went a little aggro on one, but I can at least sleep in my slashed victim. Lesson here is: slash with caution. Whether store-bought or self-fashioned, this is one killer trend.
