SJP Bitten Update!

We've been getting lots of inquiries about when Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten Fall collection will be hitting Steve & Barry stores.

We've been getting lots of inquiries about when Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten Fall collection will be hitting Steve & Barry stores. Here's the latest! The Fall collection began trickling into stores August 10th and the full floor set should be in stores by September 15th. With every item still priced at $19.98 or less, you can visit Bitten's website for more information and Steve and Barry's website for store locations.

What's in store for Bitten come Fall? An expanded assortment of nearly 500 apparel items and accessories including classic outerwear styles in current silhouettes and wool and cashmere sweaters in a variety of styles and colors. I am most excited for outerwear from wool coats to hooded puffer jackets, a denim collection constructed of cotton denim produced in the same mills and finished with the same techniques as many premium brands, and, of course, an array of accessories including: handbags, jewelry, belts, hats, scarves, gloves and footwear. Bitten continues to rock on!

Sarah Jessica Parker Reveals More Details on Covet

This month's issue of Elle features Sarah Jessica Parker and how she's become not just a celebrity, but also a brilliant businesswoman.

imageThis month's issue of Elle features Sarah Jessica Parker and how she's become not just a celebrity, but also a brilliant businesswoman. In the story, SJP talks about Covet, her new fragrance:

"I know this about me: I will only do something that I can completely and utterly, for better or worse, take the credit, take the blame for, 100 percent," she says. Indeed, the bigwigs at Coty seem bemused by just how deeply she plunged herself into her two fragrances—two-year-old Lovely and, new this month, Covet—obsessing over everything from the herringbone-pattern box to the ultraspecific note of geranium in the scent itself ("I like that the plant was pulled from the earth, so you smell all the green of the sand and the dirt, and just a little bit of those petals on the bottom," Parker says).

Battle of the Valentino: Parker vs. Hathaway

You can never go wrong with black - in my book, anyway!

You can never go wrong with black - in my book, anyway! SJP goes all silverscreen goddess on us with her asymmetrical gown, while Anne does an embroidered and embellished version of the floor-length gown. I think both ladies look very classy - if a little safe. What do you all think?

Bitten Fashion Show and SJP on the Today Show!

Sarah Jessica Parker was on the Today Show this morning dressed head to toe in her Bitten clothing line.

Sarah Jessica Parker was on the Today Show this morning dressed head to toe in her Bitten clothing line. Well, actually her shoes were not Bitten, as she shyly admitted. She said "um, don't ask about the shoes!" I would expect no less out of Miss Carrie Bradshaw herself. She was so cute, down to earth and so endearingly proud of her new line. Take a look for a Bitten fashion show and some great commentary by SJP herself!

Cruise 2008: Oscar de la Renta

Womenswear Designer of The Year, Oscar de la Renta has surely kept his favorite customers - the ladies who lunch and Anna Wintour - happy with this collection.

Womenswear Designer of The Year, Oscar de la Renta has surely kept his favorite customers - the ladies who lunch and Anna Wintour - happy with this collection. There are plenty of fitted suits, floppy hats, party dress, and polka dots to go around.

I think my favorite look has to be this coral taffeta ruffled number, left, which is surprisingly similar to a J. Crew dress that I've had my eye on recently. There are a few misses in the collection - a black and white polka-dotted dress with frills and a basket-weave pattern near the bottom comes to mind. But I've got to give Mr. de la Renta credit where credit is due: he does do the monochrome knee-length party dress reminiscent of those SJP wore in Sex and the City very well.

A Sneak Peek at SJP's Bitten Clothing Line!

Boy does celebrity fashion news travel fast!

Boy does celebrity fashion news travel fast! It's been an exciting two weeks for fab favorite Sarah Jessica Parker. First, she announced her first ever clothing line called 'Bitten,' then we found out the juicy (ie. cheap!) clothing line details, and then she looked amazing in our premiere SJP Celebrity Style. It is faboo to see you back in the spotlight SJP! She was the original girl who likes to have fun after all. Thanks to Catwalk Queen, here is a sneak peek of Bitten, to be sold exclusively at Steve & Barry's stores June 7th.

UPDATE: Sorry gals - had to remove the photos. Stay tuned for more updates!

What do you all think?! I'm more into the set on the models - there's a bit more SJP eclecticism going on there. The bottom set looks like a J.Crew lineup (ouch!). Nonetheless, I'll take that grey dress with bottom blue stripe and the black belted corset dress, and I better see a tutu in the mix SJP! Stay tuned for more Bitten...

Fab Flash: More on SJP's Bitten Clothing Line

Sarah Jessica Parker may be a lady of luxury, but she wants to bring fabulous clothing to the masses at affordable prices.

Sarah Jessica Parker may be a lady of luxury, but she wants to bring fabulous clothing to the masses at affordable prices. Since we already know that her clothing line Bitten will be inexpensive (we're talking each article under $20), now we can all dress like SJP!

The collection was named after her reaction to walking into a Steve & Barry’s store for the first time - she was "bitten." She then decided to collaborate with them to create high-quality sportswear for women of all ages and sizes at a fair price.

It has been reported Bitten will make its official debut on June 7th, only at Steve & Barry's stores. The line will consist of approximately 150 styles and over 400 clothing items and accessories such as: knit shirts, wool and cashmere sweaters, dresses, lingerie, denim, handbags, jewelry, belts and of course...shoes!

The tagline for the collection is: "Fashion is not a luxury, it's a right." I'll second that! This is just soooo exciting!
