Eddie Borgo "was listening to The Kills' new album a lot" while designing his Fall 2012 jewelry collection, so it's no wonder the band's lead singer, Alison Mosshart, ended up as his campaign star.

Borgo's collection is in part inspired by New York City and "the joints, railways, tunnels, and engineering systems that hold it together," he says. "But, in another way, the collection also is always inspired by the few true personalities that make up the culture of the city — the way in which music, specifically, colors the attitudes and outlook of its people. Alison could not be a better representation of rock music today."

Mosshart isn't the first city girl Borgo has used for his campaign. In the past, Kate Lanphear, Giovanna Battaglia, and Cecilia Dean have posed for the ads. A look at Mosshart's campaign here in the gallery.

The Latest Fall '12 Ads: Topshop, Diane von Furstenberg, and More
More Fall 2012 ad campaigns have cropped up, and with them, another batch of perfectly cozy layers, luxurious cold-weather textures, and rich jewel tones to crave. Kate Moss reprised her role as Milan-based brand Liu Jo's leading lady, Topshop enlisted a new cast of fresh faces for its low-key ads, and UU Uniqlo Undercover went for A Bug's Life-inspired glamour. All this, plus more Fall '12 treats from Theyskens' Theory, Ralph Lauren, and Karl Lagerfeld, after the jump.

Revealed: Louis Vuitton's Fall 2012 Ad Campaign
Remember the $8 million, specially built locomotive Marc Jacobs sent barreling down the Fall 2012 Louis Vuitton runway? It's back, and this time, it serves as the backdrop of the house's Fall 2012 ad campaign. "We wanted to continue the journey we started with the fashion show — the glamour of travel and the romance of going somewhere," Jacobs explained. To do so, the train was deconstructed and shipped to a New York studio where it was rebuilt, filled with models, and photographed by Steven Meisel. "We wanted to maintain the comfortingly luxurious and old-fashioned journey that the collection represented. Opulence, the brocades, the beautiful cuts of the suits, and I guess, the distant romantic glamour of travel," Jacobs said.
First Look! Kate Moss For Mango Summer 2012
Does Kate Moss ever age? We don't think so, and her new Summer campaign with Mango proves that very notion. Check out Kate looking fresh as ever, wearing pretty pieces from Mango's affordable Summer collection shot by her good friend, Terry Richardson, in London. We'd like to get our hands on the yellow halter-neck dress for upcoming garden wedding parties, and Mango's sporty-striped silk sheath for an athletic spin on work wear. More photos of Kate for Mango's Summer and Spring campaign, plus cool behind-the-scenes shots in the slideshow.
Happy Birthday, Marc Jacobs! See His Coolest, Quirkiest Ad Campaigns Yet
Never one to shy away from provocative storytelling, Marc Jacobs has become just as well known for his bohemian-meets-sexy ads as for the clothes he creates. And of course, who could forget Victoria Beckham's doll persona peeking out of bags and garment boxes in Spring 2008? To celebrate Marc's 49th birthday today, we've culled his best and most striking campaigns throughout the seasons — click through to see them all.

- Douse yourself in sequins for a fun evening look; just remember to let your dress do the talking via minimal accessories.
Check Out Gisele Bündchen's Latest Ads For Esprit
To help boost its style cred, Esprit has once again tapped Gisele Bündchen for its latest ad campaign. This time, Gisele is modeling its March collection, wearing a colorful array of Spring-perfect pants, striped tops, and lightweight knits. Apparently, the supermodel has a love for bright colors: "What do you feel like when you see someone in the streets wearing bright colors? For me, I automatically think this person is fun," said Gisele. "In the summertime, you walk in the streets of New York and you see pops of orange, red, yellow, green — it's like sunshine." We couldn't agree more. Check out our top looks below, then click the slideshow to see more of Gisele Bündchen in Esprit's latest collection.
- We can't wait to wear this red semisheer sweater over neon tees and tanks for a bright layered look.
- Everyone needs a Spring trench coat. This one is perfectly tailored and lightweight enough for wearing over dresses.
- Instead of the usual navy-and-blue striped tee this season, we love the idea of a brighter rendition, like this pink-and-orange striped long-sleeve tee.
