Mom-to-be Kate Hudson showed off a radiant look last night at the Something Borrowed premiere in LA wearing a pale yellow chiffon dress from Versace's Fall 2011 collection.

Mom-to-be Kate Hudson showed off a radiant look last night at the Something Borrowed premiere in LA wearing a pale yellow chiffon dress from Versace's Fall 2011 collection. For extra glow, Kate accompanied her gown with a Ferragamo clutch, Chrome Hearts jewels, and gold peep-toe pumps. We love it. Get the same look with a similar sunny strapless dress ($269), Christian Louboutin gold pumps ($795), and a pop of light pink lips. Don't forget to shop the rest of the outfit above!

Kate Hudson is busy: this morning on the Today show she announced she is engaged to Matthew Bellamy, the same day it was announced that Kate had collaborated with jewelry line Chrome Hearts on a collection. WWD published one of the rings she designed for Chrome Hearts — peek it below — although the line isn't expected to hit stores until late Summer. Might she be inspired to design her and Matt's wedding bands? Either way, the recent birthday girl has plenty to celebrate. Now we can focus on the impending wedding of a very different Kate.

Haute and Bothered Shoutout: What The Market Will Bear

Every time a new, more expensive extravagance is released the style bloggers wag their tongues.
Every time a new, more expensive extravagance is released the style bloggers wag their tongues. Haute and Bothered has discovered a pair of Chrome Hearts sunglasses for a whopping $1,2000. We didn't do a lot of investigating when it comes to Chrome Hearts price points in general but we want to castigate (look at us rhyme!) anyone who thinks that the rich won't find new and sillier ways to spend their money. Hey we buy dumb shit we don't need too, its just that its all relative. Our $600 Marni pants seem pretty insane to some people we think its a great purchase. We are guessing someone that buys $1,200 glasses probably thinks its worth it too. With widening income gaps the rich are in fact getting richer and well you know the rest. If it really steams you may we suggest a career in luxury goods. At least then you know recessions won't hurt you.
