Fab Gift Guide: The Eclectic

If you combined a hippie bro with a metro man, you'd get the eclectic.
Urban Outfitters at ShopStyle

If you combined a hippie bro with a metro man, you'd get the eclectic. This one is all about personal style. Never one to succumb to overly trendy attire, this mysteriously unique male shines in his originality. The eclectic dude I know pairs his Levi's with an avant garde sweater, oxfords, chunky knit scarf, and a beanie. Nice. When shopping for such a distinctive soul, choose items with cool quirk like these Urban Outfitters Hawkings McGill Tweed Pants ($40, originally $64). Studiously slick.

Celebrity Style: Sophie Monk

Pulchritudinous Aussie Sophie Monk was making the rounds in LA this week in a very Spring-ready ensemble.

Pulchritudinous Aussie Sophie Monk was making the rounds in LA this week in a very Spring-ready ensemble. I've been seeing more and more denim dresses in stores and even though they remind many people of being 12 years old, I like the look when done right. Sophie chose a smocked jumper style and teamed it with some sky-high Michael Kors sandals and a pop of red (wallet). Even though she's sporting a few trends at once, her look is still approachable and very LA casual. Hopefully new squeeze Ryan Seacrest will approve as well.

Trend Alert: Gorgeous Cocktail Rings (dahling)

Every finger requires the drama of a gorgeous cocktail ring once in a while; fingers have fashion needs too!

Every finger requires the drama of a gorgeous cocktail ring once in a while; fingers have fashion needs too! Wearing one of these dazzlers guarantees your look that extra bang. With simply one piece of bling, you can tone down the rest of your jewels and let your finger lead the way. And I declare, these are most fabulous when twinkling beside a flute of bubbly. Cheers!

Celebrity Style: Christine Taylor

It seems like ages since we last saw Christine Taylor at a red carpet event.

It seems like ages since we last saw Christine Taylor at a red carpet event. I'm so glad her smiling face is back at the movie premiere of "Knocked Up." She looks so cute and sophisticated in her black and white polka dot blouse and black trousers. On anyone else, the ensemble might have looked too business-y, but Christine's playful waves, svelte body and easy-going attitude make it work.
