H.E.R., Jennifer Lopez, and More Are Teaming Up to Make Sure You Vote in 2022

Michelle Obama's Voting Squad wants to know: are you ready for the midterm elections? Mrs. Obama announced today that H.E.R., Jennifer Lopez, Becky G, Steph Curry, and Bretman Rock are serving as cochairs for When We All Vote, a nonpartisan organization launched in 2018 to change the culture around voting and increase participation in every election. When We All Vote's new cochairs join an impressive roster of culture leaders and change-makers, including Selena Gomez, Tom Hanks, Janelle Monáe, Megan Rapinoe, Kerry Washington, and Rita Wilson, who are all working to inspire people to register and to vote.

And these cochairs have a big job ahead of them. After Congress has stalled on passing any voting rights legislation, amidst a wave of voter suppression efforts across the country, getting people registered and making a plan to vote is more important than ever. As Megan Rapinoe told POPSUGAR exclusively, "Voting is the magic sauce to the American dream. Make your voice heard, get registered today. This is literally the most important thing we can do. Join us!"
