As you know, this year's Costume Institute Gala was all about models. The red carpet and parties are no longer, but the Met exhibition — The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion — will remain until Aug. 9.

Since we can't attend the upcoming MET Costume Institute Gala, Model as Muse exhibit in NYC (tear), we created our own model exhibits for your viewing pleasure — it was pretty awesome, huh? Here at Fab we're always reminiscing about MTV's House of Style. For you youngins who may not know what I speak of (gasp), it was MTV's '90s fashion TV show that included snippets of fashion shows, models, news, designers — totally fun stuff. The best part was Cindy Crawford played host for most of it, later hosts included Rebecca Romijn, Shalom Harlow, and Amber Valletta.

With such a downright fabulous dress, it's no wonder that two celebrities have already been all over it. Mandy Moore was a Fab favorite in her asymmetrical Preen LBD when she wore it in October. She looked classy with a hint of sultry.
