Karlie Kloss set fans of both fashion and music atwitter Wednesday when she was spotted on a film set with Daft Punk in New York City. The model of the moment and the French musical duo responsible for Random Access Memories, arguably the album of the Summer, were photographed at 42nd Street and Park Avenue by a number of passersby, some of whom speculated that the three were shooting a music video. But so far no one has been able to confirm exactly what the filming is for.

For the band, working with Kloss is another dalliance with the world of high fashion. Earlier this year they appeared in Saint Laurent's Music Project campaign, and they've been wearing the brand in promotional videos for their new album.

Stars celebrated the world of fashion in NYC last night at the 2013 CFDA Awards in Lincoln Center. The event honors top fashion designers, and stylish stars like Kerry Washington and Jessica Chastain joined the party on the arms of celebrated designers. Being that this was a style event, there were plenty of supermodels at the bash, including Victoria's Secret stars Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, and Karlie Kloss. Hillary Clinton also joined the bash to present the Founders Award to Oscar de la Renta, the man behind many of the former secretary of state's famous pantsuits. She joked about her sense of style during her speech, saying, "Now that I have some more time on my hands I am going to be pitching Andy Cohen and others a new show for Bravo. . . . We can call it Project Pantsuit." She also noted that she was embarrassed when she first met Oscar and he told her that she was wearing one of his designs.

Of course, there were a few stars in attendance who had a closer connection to the CFDA Awards other than just being fans of fashion. Tobey Maguire turned out to support his wife, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, who was nominated for the Swarovski Award for emerging talent for accessory design. Mary-Kate Olsen also attended the event after scooping up the highly coveted womenswear award with her sister Ashley back in 2012. There's no denying that the unofficial honorees of the CFDA Awards are the ones who come arm in arm with the designers. Whether it's a relationship based on loyalty and friendship (looking at you, Karlie Kloss and the ladies of Cushnie et Ochs) or one that gives way to jaw-dropping jewels (Sofia Vergara in Lorraine Schwartz, anyone?), or just best friends at it again (Alexander Wang and Erin Wasson), date night rarely looks this chic.

Models and stars mixed and mingled at various afterparties following the 2013 CFDA Awards at NYC's Lincoln Center last night. Sofia Vergara linked up with Vera Wang at the Four Seasons hotel to celebrate the designer's Lifetime Achievement honor, which she picked up during the award show earlier in the evening. Also in attendance to show their support for Vera were Anna Wintour, Kate Mara, Greta Gerwig, and many of her fellow designers. Meanwhile, models Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Karlie Kloss danced the night away at Swarovski's soiree on top of The Standard hotel. The downtown affair also brought out Hailee Steinfeld, Kate Upton, designer Prabal Gurung, and Ellie Kemper. Hailee did more than just party with her fashionable friends, she also took the stage as a presenter of the Swarovski Emerging Designer award earlier in the night.

Many other stars stepped out in the Big Apple last night for the CFDA Awards, which celebrate American designers and their contributions to the fashion world. Kerry Washington, Jessica Chastain, and Tobey Maguire, who was on the arm of his wife and nominee Jennifer Meyer, were just a few to show their support for fashion's biggest names, while Hillary Clinton also made an appearance to present the Founders Award to Oscar de la Renta.

The latest collaboration to make news is for denim lovers — and, as Karlie Kloss told Vogue, it's also for "freakishly tall" girls like her. The lanky 6'1" model has teamed up with Frame Denim — and her friends Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson — on a capsule called Forever Karlie. It includes two extralong jean styles, one flared and one skinny silhouette, in light and dark washes, each with 40-inch inseams (the average being around 30 to 32 inches).

The partnership was not borne out of a need to join in on the growing collaboration bandwagon, but out of sheer necessity. "Finding pants that fit is something I've struggled with my whole life," Kloss said. And it isn't just length that defines this capsule. The waistband is slightly higher, making it near impossible to reveal too much skin. "There's nothing worse than a pair of jeans that leaves you feeling exposed when you bend down!"
