Julia Louis-Dreyfus emoted sexy elegance in a Narciso Rodriguez gown and Christian Louboutin sandals. It takes major confidence to work that sheer torso detail! Adding a pop of color are jade green oversize earrings and a matching bracelet by Irene Neuwirth. What are your thoughts?

Which Sex and the City 2 London Premiere Look Is Most Fab?

The fabulous foursome of SATC hit up the red carpet in London for the premiere of Sex and the City 2 looking sleek and sexy, much like they did at the NYC premiere. Cynthia Nixon contrasted her gold locks with a blue one-shoulder dress by Narciso Rodriguez; SJP posed pretty in a voluminous lace-embellished black taffeta Alexander McQueen confection; Kristin Davis shined in a vintage gold sequined halter gown by Norman Norell; and Kim Cattrall emoted major sass in a vintage gathered frock by Thierry Mugler. So decadent, so dazzling. Which look do you prefer?

Narciso Rodriguez Gets Palette-able

If you're a Narciso Rodriguez aficionado, you have something new to look forward to.

If you're a Narciso Rodriguez aficionado, you have something new to look forward to. This month, the designer will be selling a "beauty palette" package ($84) at Saks that includes one of his perfumes, a blush, and lip gloss. The makeup shades are designed to coordinate with the juice and notes of each fragrance to encourage people to wear all three products together.

Could this be the start of a new direction in beauty for Rodriguez? He wouldn't be alone, as more haute designers are expanding their labels to include cosmetics — just yesterday, rumors surfaced that Tom Ford is creating an entire makeup line. Do you like this direction or do big names in fashion not sway you?

>> Second Season of Loic Prigent's The Day Before Confirmed for September —Documentarian Loic Prigent captured Sonia Rykiel, Proenza Schouler, Fendi, and Jean Paul Gaultier in the 36 hours leading up to their respective shows for the premiere season of the Sundance Channel's series The Day Before. As reported, he's back for a second round, having followed Alexander Wang, Diane von Furstenberg, Jeremy Scott, Narciso Rodriguez, Peter Copping at Nina Ricci, and Donatella Versace at Versace during the Fall 2010 season. The new season premieres Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 10 PM. Prigent noted, “We explored the energy of New York with young labels like Alexander Wang, grandes dames like Diane von Furstenberg, energy and humor with Jeremy Scott, and couturelike precision with Narciso Rodriguez. In Paris, you see the sweetness and romanticism of Nina Ricci, and the extreme everything of Donatella Versace in Milan. All those houses are very different, which has made it such a crazy experience.” [Full Frontal Fashion]
