But: “I wanted to be with Scott," she says, adding: "I never felt at home in Paris.” [NY Times]

>> Intel followed The Sartorialist's Scott Schuman around just before the holidays to produce a seven-minute short documentary on how he works. He continues: "I'm not much of a people person, I don't push to find out that much more [about his subjects]. We share some readers, and some readers aren’t the same.” She has been doing her blog for four years, and Schuman has been doing his for just over five, but she adds that he is “almost like my editor in chief.” [Harper's Bazaar]

>> Garance Doré Moved to New York! —Garance Dore announced yesterday that she has left Paris for the Big Apple. Perhaps the move was to be closer to her Manhattan-based beau, fellow streetstyle photographer Scott Schuman? "It’s awesome," she blogged, adding that she's been keeping busy: "I worked on twelve things at the same time, did my first project where I was the artistic director, shot some editorials, some ads, and worked night and day on illustrations." >> Garance Dore has been experimenting more and more with video content on her blog, and there's a reason, she tells The Huffington Post in a recent interview: "My dream project is to do a movie . . . about girls and life and fashion. But it's really a dream project. I'm not even at the beginning of it."

But she says for now, "more realistic[ally]," there's television. Dore's boyfriend, The Sartorialist's Scott Schuman, hinted about a TV project at the end of last year, and Dore brings the subject up again:

We're working on a TV show with Scott. We don't know yet exactly what form it's going to have. It's the same thing: why would we do a classic TV show, when the world is changing? And the world of media is changing? So we are working on the concept. We want something that talks to the people very easily and that you can see on the Internet.

The show wouldn't follow her or Schuman »

Scott Schuman's had a big year, but 2010 might be even greater.

Scott Schuman's had a big year, but 2010 might be even greater. While promoting his awesome book at the Sass and Bide store in Sydney, Australia, The Sartorialist revealed details on an upcoming clothing line and TV show.

"But also there's maybe a TV show coming up, maybe a clothing collection coming up. There's a lot of negotiating going on right now . . . I was offered a lot of shows before and I don't think the companies were right that were asking me. But this company I think is right. It's a very well known director and all, they're a company. . . . So maybe there's a TV show, maybe there's an accessories collection that might lead into a full clothing collection. So there's a lot of other things coming up but it's still early in the process, " said Schuman. We're tickled pink.
