This Summer, some of the most well-known women in Hollywood will be lighting up the big screen as superheroes, cops, magicians, '90s teens, and more. While some actresses are returning to popular roles for sequels, others will be treading in new territory — like Emma Watson, who's playing a shallow socialite in Sofia Coppola's latest film. It seems like there isn't a makeup look that Lily Collins won't try, but she also knows how to stick to the classics. The actress showed up to WonderCon over the weekend sporting champagne shadow, glossy red lips, and her signature bold brows. Her heavily pigmented lip color stood out against her otherwise matte look, creating a high-impact look that's easy to mimic. After achieving your perfect standout brows and layering on a red lipstick, add some serious oomph with some crimson lip gloss. Stuck on which pigment is perfect? Shop our picks below!
It's a tangled web of romance, loss, and self-doubt in the trailer for Stuck in Love. Greg Kinnear stars as novelist Bill Borgens, a man who can't seem to get over his ex (Jennifer Connelly) even though she's with another man. Bill's beautiful, candid neighbor (Kristen Bell) does her best to get him back in the dating game, makeover and all. Meanwhile, his cynical daughter (Lily Collins) — also a writer — starts to fall for a hopeless romantic (Logan Lerman), while Bill's son (Nat Wolff) finds love for the first time.
In dealing with the dynamic of a family whose members are falling in love and moving past heartbreak, the film is unmistakably similar to Crazy, Stupid, Love. Still, it looks sweet and touching in its own right. Stuck in Love opens in theaters June 14, and you can check out the trailer after the break.
Lily Collins brought on the glitz and glamour in a blue, striped, and floral-embellished Zuhair Murad gown at the Vanity Fair Oscar afterparty. The brunette actress looked statuesque in her shimmery pick, which she matched accordingly with sapphire drop earrings, a few sparkly rings, and purple satin Brian Atwood pumps. Lest we forget, it wasn't just the high shine that caught our eye — Collins's cutout back was just as spotlight-worthy. Are you into it?

Selena Gomez met up with her friend Lily Collins at Sushi Dan in Studio City yesterday afternoon. Selena rocked a lace skirt with studded boots and a pair of heart-shaped shades, while the equally stylish Lily donned a sundress. Selena fit in girl time after a busy week of fashion and award shows. She attended New York Fashion Week, where she faced anti-sweatshop protesters at the Adidas NEO runway show. Selena appeared unaffected by the ambush, taking to Twitter after to only mention the "amazing show." After returning to LA, Selena attended a Grammys afterparty at Supperclub and also met up with Katy Perry and Allison Williams at the Chateau Marmont.
Lily Collins may have been surrounded by a slew of stylish stars at the British Fashion Awards in London, but it was her black leather-trim Mulberry gown and gold ear cuff that really captured our attention. The actress worked her sleek gown with a skull wrap ring and dark red lipstick to create a flawless goth-meets-glam look that is the perfect alternative to a bright holiday dress. For your next cocktail party, take a cue from this brunette beauty and work a black gown with a statement ear cuff, then complete the look with this black fur Topshop stole ($40) for extra warmth.
Usually one to opt for more soft, girlie makeup and polished hair, Lily Collins strutted the red carpet sporting surprisingly dark makeup with grunge-esque hair. Taking the hot trends for Fall to the extreme, Lily paired her signature bold brows with black eyeliner and a deep berry lipstick to round things out. The whole look gave off a punk rock vibe, enhanced by Lily's dangly ear cuff and studded dress. Changing up your makeup in the Fall and Winter months is always a bold move, but what do you think of Lily's dark transformation?
The 2012 British Fashion Awards took place at the Savoy Theater in London last night. The event was hosted by actress Gemma Arterton and British radio presenter Nick Grimshaw, bringing out a group of stylish stars. Designer Stella McCartney was honored with two titles including designer of the year and best designer brand, while Alexa Chung took home British style icon for the third time. Check out the full list of British Fashion Awards winners.
Model Amber Valletta chose a dramatic red gown for the occasion, and singer Rita Ora went strapless in Vivienne Westwood. Rita made the rounds and said hello to pals like the designer Valentino. Salma Hayek was on hand to celebrate and mingled with Princess Beatrice, while Lily Collins arrived with boyfriend Jamie Campbell Bower. It was the couple's first official appearance after they were linked over the Summer while filming The Mortal Instruments.
The trailer for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones rethinks the classic image of angels and gives them a modern makeover. Lily Collins (Mirror Mirror) stars as Clary Fray, the heroine of the movie based on the bestselling book. In the wake of her mother's (Lena Headey) disappearance, Clary is confronted with a harsh truth: like her ancestors before her, she's half-human and half-angel, a combination known as a Shadowhunter. Her job is to protect the human race from demons that threaten the planet. Understandably, she's not thrilled about it, especially when her new Shadowhunter ally Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower) introduces her to the Downworld, a mysterious and deadly place located below her home of New York City.
First her mom goes missing, then she finds out her sole purpose in life is to fight terrifying demons? That's a bummer. Though if anyone can handle it, I'd peg Lily Collins for a fighter. This is just the first chapter in Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series, so if it's any good, you can bet on seeing more cities (like those made of ashes, glass, and fallen angels) on the big screen as well. It opens Aug. 23, and you can watch the trailer after the jump.
Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower held hands during an afternoon out in Toronto yesterday. The duo stopped for coffee and shared a few laughs while sipping on their drinks. Lily and Jamie are in Canada to work on their movie, The Mortal Instruments. It looks like Lily and Jamie are getting close after both recently becoming single. Lily reportedly split from Zac Efron while Jamie and Bonnie Wright called off their engagement just last month. The new couple have each other and work to keep themselves busy, though. In addition to his latest project, Jamie will soon get started promoting the final installment of Twilight before it hits theaters in November. Lily, meanwhile, can be seen on the small screen after Mirror, Mirror was released on DVD.
